We had a great day on the Weber with Angelo! 5 fish including 2 on a dry fly that Angelo matched perfectly to an intermittent caddis hatch. My son and I also enjoyed learning about the ecology of the river, which Angelo was an expert on.

I booked a half-day fishing trip on the Provo River with Park City Outfitters while on vacation with my wife. I have been fly fishing for 25 years, but usually use a guide when fishing on unfamiliar waters. We spent a morning (almost 5 hours fishing) and landed 3 fish, and lost 3 more. I learned some new techniques, and new ways to rig a fly rod. I probably would not have caught any fish had I gone on my own. My guide new the river, knew what flies to use and what techniques to use that were different than ones I was used to. I strongly recommend Park City Outfitters. They are local. The owner's family has lived in Park City for generations. They know the rivers and will put you on fish.

I have been fly fishing for 50+ yrs. I've taken guided trips from the Catskills to Yellowstone but the 4 days my sons and I spent with Brandon Bertagnole and Park City Outfitters was the best ever! We ran the gamut- floating the Green River and wade fishing several "secret" streams using nymph and dry fly tactics. Brandon and his staff showed us techniques effective in each situation. They helped us with our casting to the point where I no longer regard the double haul as impossible. We caught good fish in spectacular surroundings. All in all a great experience and I would recommend PCO for the most enjoyable and hassle free excursion.

There are a few fly fishing guides from which to choose in the Park City area, but you would be wise to select the Park City Outfitters. I had never fly fished before but my guide, Greg's, selection of location and his patient teaching translated into the catch of a beautiful big brown trout on only my 4th cast!!! And they kept coming. What a memorable experience to be out in that peaceful water surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the trout flip flopping in the water around you (and onto your line!). Have fun and ask for Greg... he is so pleasant, so experienced, and an effective guide.

I booked a fly fishing trip with Park City Outfitters and was more than happy with the service. Brandon hooked me up with one of his Guides, Greg. Greg met me at my hotel prior to the trip to discuss experience, fishing options, time, and anything else required of the trip. The following morning Greg picked me up bright and early and we hit the river. Fishing was a little slow but the experience was worth every bit of the trip. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and shared many tips and tricks that made the experience that much more memorable. Thanks to Greg's teaching ability, I was casting and stripping line in no time. Overall, I would highly recommend Park City Outfitters. Brandon and his group of Guides were extremely accommodating and all truly shared a deep passion for fly fishing. We are active seniors from Texas enjoy fly fishing. Booked with Brandon, he offered the best half day option. Jeremy our guide picked us up at our hotel. Drove to beautiful and clear, easy wade access Weber river about 20 minutes drive. Rigged our 5 wt rods his special way. We fished about 50 feet from each other with Jeremy coaching us, untangling and Best of All Netting over 20 Nice Brown feisty Trout. Highly recommend them, quality Guiding at a fair fee. Nice touch had portable chair for putting on waders and complimentary caps with Trout logo.

I have been using Park City outfitters for several years now and would not consider any other guide or service.Brandon has great skills and infinite patience.

My family and I have been booking trips with Park City Outfitters for the past several years, and we look forward to next summer to book more trips with them. They have without a doubt the most knowledgeable and trout-savvy guide service around; actually, we have never experienced better guided fishing trips anywhere else in Utah. I would recommend them over other outfitters for three main reasons:
1. Put us on fish consistently when other anglers struggled=best local knowledge of the area leads to more big fish in the net, even when conditions like weather and water clarity or flows aren't optimal
2. Gave us excellent local advice for: where to stay, best places to grab a bite, as well as other activities for non-fishermen/ladies.
3. Great value-pricing was relatively low for such a great experience
They also provide everything you need to enjoy a great day on the water-transportation, luncheon, water, and even fly fishing equipment if either you have just begun learning to fly fish or if by chance you left your stuff at home (waders, boots, fly rods/reels *you get charged for renting the gear but it is not expensive at all-much cheaper than buying it all. If you're in the Park City area and are looking for a great guide to show you the ropes on any of the blue ribbon waters in the surrounding area look no farther than Park City Outfitters-they also offer float fishing trips down the scenic Green River, an experience every hardcore and even beginner fly fisherman/lady needs to have.
